Why We Started This
Because most borrowers never see the real number.
Too many people land on a short-term loan product without ever seeing what it costs in plain dollars — just a fee that sounds small next to a due date that sounds manageable.
We built this site to lay out how payday and title loans are structured, what the disclosures actually mean, what happens if repayment slips, and what else might be worth trying first.
We're not a lender. Loan Answer Center doesn't issue, broker, fund, or service loans of any kind, and we never make a credit or underwriting decision.
